Writing is an art, where you develop in a small pace. I have enrolled to few writing courses from udemy. Out of which I would recommend this course in particular.
Link to the course is up here, there are no affiliate links. Don’t have to be worried or you can click over here or even search in udemy directly.
Well if you ask me, have this course helped me? I should say yes, it did help me a lot and gave me more insight on writing.
Amnt a good writer myself, I should confess it. I always wished to be known as a writer instead of engineering professional.(You can read about me over here.)
Finally found my way of writing and expressing thoughts without losing the thoughts of readers.
So writing daily or writing as much you can is one of the proven strategies for becoming a better writer.
Yeah trust me I wasn’t a big fan of reading books, I usually find excuses for doing it. I used to doze off as I slip into few chapters. (Just kidding) It was over the beginning when I kick-started this routine, long time back. Nowadays am quite okay with it and started to consume bit more chapters.
While reading more and more different flavors, I have traveled with authors to their imaginative world.Helping me to understand one thing – “Writing does vary from each individual since everyone has a unique creativity”
Don’t impress the reader instead impress your creativity.
I have seen myself coming up with very complex vocabulary and trying to sew it up in my sentences. Just to make my set my standards high, unfortunately, it makes my writing more boring. (Even I felt it, another confession)
Best creative work comes from your own creativity, let it take control of your fingers as you stroke keyboard.
Never give up easily
Even Shakespeare was not born with a gift of writing or some may claim it to be true. I don’t believe it, every human being living in this universe has got the same potential. So anyone can write and anyone can critique your work.
Don’t be afraid of it, writing is letting your creativity outlive. They come into true existence when they are able to access readers creativity.
So don’t give up. Be consistent in two things – Read a lot and write a lot. If someone is criticizing your work, thank them 🙂 Because you are arousing his imagination to live up, via your words.
Bottom Line: Anyone can write, there is no need for special gifts.
” Its an art, which nurtures itself and grows as you become more persistent in writing and reading.”
