Thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Joby John, am a passionate digital marketer. This blog came into very existence, just because I wanted to learn digital marketing.Over the past year, I have been into several Facebook groups, digital marketing blogs, learning and experimenting with digital marketing.
I have started from ground zero and still figuring out various stuff in digital marketing. This blog – Knowjoby.com is entirely focussed on Search Engine Optimizations and Search Engine Marketing.
Even though, you would be finding lot many topics of other categories. Please do bear with me, I am clearing things up here.
Henceforth from February 23rd of 2018, this blog contents will be nurtured with SEO and SEM topics only
Now you got a picture of what is Knowjoby blog about? Well over the personnel out front am someone who believes – “Nobody is gonna stop your victory unless you stop for yourself.” and a very optimistic person, who blindfolded believes in – “Everything happens for good.”
Of course, there is bit of down part, which makes me a human 🙂
Do have a day job – as a “Sr.Qaulity Assurance Engineer”, someone who finds fault in software developers. Well, that’s my job to provide a bug-free product 🙂
How did I transition from QA To Marketing? I was passionate about Marketing right from the beginning of my career. Frankly, didn’t know there is a career path for marketing and was a bit hesitant in taking the risk.
Gradually started to learn digital marketing from various internet rockstars such as – Niel Patel(SEO Rockstar),Harsh Agrawal(Best person to learn more about Blogging and Affiliate Marketing),Digital Deepak (Digital Marketing Strategies),Ryan Holiday (He taught what is a growth hacking!), Avinash Kaushik(Google Analytics.)
Advice for guys who wants to blog seriously?
Start with a micro niche, never start with the broad niche. To be conveyed in more simpler terms.
I started this blog with border niche – “Digital Marketing” and literally I couldn’t retain my blog visitors. They would come and go away, they woudnt visit back.
I need to find more users each and every week, that was a quite tiring job, so thought of focusing on a particular niche – “SEO and SEM” alone.
So never make the same mistake as i did.
You need a lot of patience, blogging is just like driving a car. Over the first few days, you might feel the discomfort in changing the gears manually. After a couple of weeks, it becomes quite accustomed to you.
Well in blogging it takes more than few weeks and months. It takes years, when i started this blog, there weren’t any users and another bunch of problems I have never encountered.
So don’t leave the blog or abandon the blog just like that and go. It takes time to understand how to write a blog post, how to promote it and several things.
So after this 1 year of blogging journey, I should say, it did change my life. Now I have a purpose to live a life. 🙂
